A major adjustment in hospitality and airline travel was kicked off by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who combined them with the programming industry to establish new procedures. He has worked on initiatives varying from the creation of software programs that automate resource and time intensive processes to improving aircraft safety and designing upmarket houses.

It could be predicted, however, that with his lineage he was sure to rise to distinction. Coming together from many nationalities, his line traces to classical Roman times, with the maternal line predominantly Scottish and German. The paternal line, on the other side, hailed from England and Luxembourg, from where his forebears subsequently migrated toward the end of the 1800s.

And after emigration to the U.S., they retained their drive and resolve to reach the top. Nicholas, as well as his two brothers and four sisters, was a child of a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. His dwellings for many years saw him based across several states; Missouri, Texas, Virginia and Arizona. Nicholas has stepped up to the challenge of respected jobs for businesses across the air travel sector - the bulk of them huge names. Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest - these airlines would all at various times appoint him their vice president. Most prominent, though, is his role as a creative programmer working with the airlines.

Bredimus is easily most acclaimed for a US Airways request, developing aircraft upkeep computer programs, which eventually evolved into the industry standard. He went on to create many other computerized solutions for the hotel and airline industries both before and after, among them unmanned routines for handling flight bookings, used by more than fifty firms, to say nothing of his innovative room booking program on the PC in use in the hotel industry, the launch for which took place at more than 700 locations. He also produced QuikTix, an automated ticketing network. Notwithstanding that this was certainly his forte, Bredimus also often worked on areas not connected to software. With his own firm, overseeing IT for American Express, and as the founding president of a new American Airlines division his track record is certainly remarkable.

Is he still active? Certainly - his peerless abilities are still very much in demand and at the ready no matter his retirement. You can find his work now advancing architecture - matching the requirements of luxury with the bleeding edge of technology and genuine concern for the ecology. It’s fantastic how far desire will take you…
