Coworkers don’t believe it, thanks to my disarming fashion sense, but my close family and friends know that I wear wigs to enhance my appearance. I’m Vanessa Crolley and this is the Building Confidence Journal. I was amazed that Joseph my fashion advisor asked if God gave me my hair back the first time he’d seen me in years. Credit goes to my wigs. My wigs look so on-the-money natural. They grant me the will to live up to what I call your “feminine ceiling.”
Here’s a tale, Five years ago while on a sabbatical in Jamaica, I was diagnosed with a medical condition which unfortunately afflicted me with women’s synthetic wigs. The illness knocked me flat footed. But, of course the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were the least of my many concerns. It’s a reality, I had young babies growing up and on top of that, a demanding laundry company to run. I did not realize that any lady has to pay great to herself to succeed.
So I hopped onto the promise of feeling better and worked in an office visit with my general practitioner regarding covering my medical hair loss. I originally asked about hair transplants, to tell you the truth. When he advised that well-made human hair wigs for women could take care of my hair shortage, even then I continued being cynical about wigs. These days I’m a fervent adherent to the power of wigs, and take every chance to help women with hair loss. The most important thing women might think about, is also the most encouraging; if you work it it like you own it, you’ll feel empowered.
