Due to the significance of the graduation ceremony, graduates express the pride of their academic achievements by wearing unique graduation caps also referred to as mortarboards. They are basically horizontal square boards fixed horizontally on skull caps and consist of a tassel attachment at the center. A graduation cap plays a major part in completing the entire customary uniform of university graduates and the required material should match that of the gown.
